El Tapanco is a family-owned custom rustic furniture Houston based company. We started selling Mexican Home decor in different Houston areas, festivals and businesses. We quickly built a clientele to cater our Custom Rustic Mexican Furniture. El Tapanco opened its first and only location in March 2006.
In order to guarantee that every project was executed smoothly, we started producing our own line of rustic custom furniture locally in Houston, TX. This move allowed us to make sure our clients custom orders were exactly as they envisioned their furniture to be, if not exceeding their expectations and also cutting the waiting time to 2-5 weeks depending on the complexity of every project as we don't have to outsource or import our rustic furniture. The only items outsource from Mexico are the copper top & wrought iron.

It is true that we specialized in Mexican/Hacienda Rustic Furniture, however we are not limited, since we manufactured our own wood products we can make other styles as well. Just ask us!
